Menu Dividers
End Result: ![]() Okay, this is one simple tutorial and I like to use it a lot on gradient menus a lot so here goes... Like I said, real simple... Make a gradient about 20-40 pixels high or so with a darker color and a lighter color. I'm going to use this one: ![]() We're going to make three lines with the pencil tool. So get out your pencil tool and set its radius to 1 px and scroll into view (zoom in) so you can see what you're doing.. make a new layer and then make two black lines with one pixel in between them. Once that is done make one white line in the blank line of pixels between the black ones.. Like this: ![]() Now there's only one step. Change the layer style! Set the layer style to soft light. ![]() Want something more intense? Change its layer style to overlay.
